Our story
Founded in 2018, Bronx Family Network was born from a shared commitment to serve New York City’s most vulnerable communities. With deep experience in partnership with the NYC Department of Homeless Services and other charitable organizations, our founders recognized a growing need—and had the passion and expertise to respond.

In just a few years, we’ve grown into a trusted nonprofit, known for providing safe, supportive housing for families experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to help individuals and families transition from crisis to stability by securing permanent housing and offering the tools they need to rebuild their lives.
Rooted in the Bronx and connected to diverse communities, our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, culturally competent care. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we’re proud to provide a safe space where dignity, independence, and hope can flourish.
Our Mission
At Bronx Family Network, we are dedicated to supporting families experiencing homelessness with dignity, care, and comprehensive services. With experience working alongside NYC’s Department of Homeless Services and trusted community partners, we bring the relationships, resources, and commitment needed to uplift those facing housing instability.
From hot meals and clean showers to case management, substance abuse support, medical resources, employment assistance, and permanent housing solutions—our mission is clear: to meet families where they are, address their immediate needs, and help them build a stable, hopeful future.
At BXFN, every resident is treated like family. We walk alongside them as they work toward stable employment, permanent housing, and a secure, hopeful future for themselves and their loved ones.
We actively encourage the families we serve to pursue educational opportunities and connect with the resources they need to thrive. Our goal is to empower each individual to live a healthy, independent life and become a contributing member of their community.
We strive to make the transition to permanent housing a supportive and empowering journey. By equipping families with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need, we help ensure they can maintain stable housing and build a brighter, self-sufficient future.
